Insurance
We participate with many of the major health plans, and we are a participating Medicare provider. Co-pays are due at the time of service. These can be paid with cash, personal check, debit card, or major credit card.
Many health plans require you to have a referral from your primary care physician before seeking treatment at an urgent care center, emergency department, or specialist. You may want to call your health plan to verify your coverage and ensure that you meet any pre-authorization requirements.
Please bring your insurance card and your drivers' license with you to your visit. We are required to ask for these by all insurance plans. If you don't have your card and ID with you at the time of your visit, we will ask you to pay at the time of the visit and submit your own insurance claim.

*Secure Medical Care is a participating provider for BC/BS of the National Capital Area. Plans outside the network , which include BC/BS of the State of Maryland and out-of-state plans, will be processed by your plan at a non-participating provider rate. You are then responsible for any non-covered services as defined by your plan.
If your plan is listed, you need only to pay your applicable co-pay. We will submit your claim for you. If your insurance plan is not listed above, you will need to pay for your visit. We will give you the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance carrier. See Fees for pricing information.
