Our Aviation Medical Exams are performed by Dr. Martin Liss, whose goal is to get you flying as soon as possible!
Dr. Liss is a board-certified internist who is qualified to perform Class 2 and Class 3 aviation medical exams and is authorized to issue combined medical/student pilot certificates. (PLEASE NOTE: The combined medical/student pilot certificate is not valid for flight operations until properly endorsed by the student's instructor).
A general aviation pilot himself, Dr. Liss is an FAA-certified Aviation Medical Examiner and a member of the Civil Aviation Medical Association. He is available to perform your exam on Thursdays and Saturdays. You may want to call ahead to confirm. No appointment is needed.
The cost of the Class 3 exam is $100, and a Class 2 exam costs $120. This type of physical exam is not covered by insurance plans. We accept credit cards, personal checks, and cash. Our office will provide the forms required by the FAA.
