Managing the drug screenings and employment physicals of a workforce that more than doubles in size during certain times of the year is a considerable administrative task. And that’s why the City of Gaithersburg turned to Secure Medical Care’s Occupational Health practice for help navigating the logistics of insuring all full- and part-time employees received the screenings required for employment.

The City's human resources team knew well the pitfalls of the process. Partnerships with other occupational health practices in the past highlighted their need for responsiveness, accuracy and organization.

We deliver, by administering city employees’ random drug screenings and bi-annual DOT physicals without requiring appointments, in a clinic that’s conveniently located to help employees fit visits into their work schedule. When the City requested help developing a program for assessment of their police candidates, we were able to leverage the expertise of our physical therapy partner to develop required agility testing assessments.
